How this directory works

This site is a directory of independent concrete sawing & drilling specialists — it lists shops, it isn't itself a contractor. Here's how listings get built, what the badges mean, and how to use it to find and compare shops in your area.

What's in a listing

Each listing is built from a shop's own website: the services it states it offers — flat (slab) sawing, wall sawing, wire sawing, core drilling, and removal/demolition — plus a set of signal badges: whether the shop states it's licensed/insured, holds CSDA accreditation (the Concrete Sawing & Drilling Association), states it's GPR-capable, how many years it's been in business, and whether it serves residential, commercial, or both. Where we have a verified Google profile for the shop, the listing also shows its live Google rating.

The honesty rule

We only show what an operator states about itself on its own website. We don't infer credentials, don't upgrade a badge because a shop "probably" qualifies, and don't accept payment to add, remove, or reorder a badge or a listing. Ranking isn't for sale — there's no pay-for-placement tier on this site. If a shop's site doesn't say it's insured or CSDA-accredited, the listing won't claim it either, even if that's true in reality; we work from what's published, not assumptions.

What we exclude

We filter out lead-generation "farm" sites — pages built to collect and resell contact requests rather than an actual local operator's own business site. The goal is a list of real, independent shops you can contact directly, not a layer of middlemen.

How to use it

Browse by metro to see the shops covering your area, narrow by the specific service you need (say, core drilling vs. wall sawing), and compare listings on their stated services, badges, and rating. When you're ready, contact the shop directly using the phone number, email, or website on its listing — we're a directory, not a broker, so there's no request form routing through us.

About this directory

Is this list paid or sponsored?
No. Listings aren't for sale and ranking isn't for sale — we don't accept payment for placement, and a shop can't buy its way higher on a metro page. What you see is what we've hand-classified from each operator's own website.
How are shops chosen and verified?
We find independent concrete sawing & drilling specialists and read their own websites to classify their services, service area, and stated credentials. We only surface what an operator states on its own site — we don't infer or guess. Where we have a verified Google profile for a shop, we also show its live rating. None of this replaces confirming insurance, licensing, or credentials directly with the shop before hiring.
Why isn't a shop I know listed?
A few common reasons: we haven't covered that metro in depth yet, the operator's only web presence is a directory profile or lead-gen "farm" site rather than its own site (which we filter out — see below), or we simply haven't found and classified it yet. If you know a shop that should be listed, tell us at /contact/.
Do you charge homeowners or contractors anything?
No. Browsing and contacting listed shops is free. We're a directory, not a broker or a lead-buying service — when you contact a shop through the information on its listing, you're contacting that business directly.
