Why we built this directory
Concrete cutting & coring is not a single licensed trade
Unlike some trades, concrete sawing, core drilling, and demolition work has no single state license or governing board in most places. While we can't tell you a contractor is "state-verified" or "certified", we can state that by their own assertions on their websites they:
Every business on this list has to clear the same checks before it earns a place:
- Operate a local business. We remove the lead-gen mills, the per-city template sites sharing one phone number, and the out-of-area "national" pages posing as local shops.
- Do concrete sawing / drilling work. We screen out the off-trade that creeps into search — general demolition, excavation, masonry, law firms, government pages — so the list stays operators who cut, core, and saw concrete.
- Are reachable and named — where they're based. A named business with a working way to reach it (no anonymous placeholders, no dead ends), resolved to the city and county it's based in by phone area code, ZIP and county.
Where we've matched an operator's verified Google Business Profile, its current star rating and review count are shown live when you view the business profile.
Profession ambiguity: who does this work?
No single trade owns the work — plenty of different specialists cut and core concrete:

Buyer Beware
In building this directory we encountered some significant SEO spamming/farm activity across every major metro. While not illegal, this is certainly a manipulative practice that is putting money in a scammer's pockets and is likely not the network you want to be rewarding with your business. They have been excluded from this directory.

Business entries should reflect their real reputation and the results they can deliver to you.
No bias
We think the most useful directories are the neutral ones:
- For homeowners: we don't put one business above another for money. We take no payment to place a listing higher, feature it, or give it any edge in the roster. Every business is listed the same way, alphabetically, whether it has claimed its listing or not.
- For contractors: we don't charge for visibility. Every listing is free, and any future lead-sharing feature will be a 1:1 hand-off — one homeowner to one company, never a request blasted out to a pile of bidders at once.
Claiming a listing
Listing management is coming soon. Once it's live, if you run one of these businesses you'll be able to claim your listing, at no cost, and verify that you're a real representative of the business. We'll share the details — including whether claiming carries any placement advantage (it won't) — before that feature goes live.
In the meantime, your phone number, services, and service area are already shown publicly on every listing. If anything is wrong, contact us and we'll fix it.
